Why women succeed at representing artists

I was checking the Guardian for my next post when I came across an interesting article running in the October 12th edition. Called "Space Women", it's about why women are successful at running galleries and dealing in the contemporary art world. Alice Rawsthorn's article presents interviews with six women. She amusingly describes the qualities and characteristics required to keep an artist happy and productive while at the same time tackling the challenges of the cut-throat world of contemporary art - and explains why women can be well-suited to such roles. There is one classic paragraph in this vein in the first interview - which you will know when you get to it! ;)
